With a dominant performance during the fall seasons, Penn State Behrend leads the AMCC Presidents Cup standings for the 2015-16 season. The Presidents Cup is awarded to the AMCC’s best athletic program each year.
The Lions won five of seven fall championships, including men’s golf, women’s tennis, men’s and women’s cross country and women’s soccer.
Mt. Aloysius won in men’s soccer and Franciscan earned the AMCC title in women’s volleyball.
For the second straight year, the standing are calculated on a percentage of points earned divided by the total possible points. Regular season and postseason finish are included to provide a weighted measure of success.
Behrend leads with a 91.5 ranking percentage The Barons are in second with a 68.6 ranking percentage and Penn State Altoona is third at 65.4.
Behrend has won 14-of-15 Presidents Cups since the award started in the 2000-01 academic year.
